# Claude Council > Claude Council is a free, open-source (MIT) Agent Skill for Claude, created by Shagun Choudhary (SuperShary). You bring it a hard decision. 80 simulated legendary minds in 10 councils debate it in character, and a High Council gives you one decisive verdict you can act on. Claude Council turns one question into a staged debate. The 10 councils are Money, Tech, Founders, Science, Product, Growth, Strategy, Wisdom, Leadership and the Red Team. In each council, members such as Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, Albert Einstein and Chanakya speak straight to you. They attack each other's claims by name, then vote with a conviction score. Each council's Chair sends a brief to the High Council. There, The Speaker (a neutral moderator) names the fault lines between the councils, the Chairs argue them out, and the Red Team runs a pre-mortem before the ruling is revised. The Verdict gives a ruling with conditions, a plan for this week, 30 days and 90 days, tripwires, the biggest risk with a hedge, dissent on record, a vote board and a confidence score. A ⚡ Bottom line sits at the top of every session. There are three modes. Quick seats 1 council with 3 members (350–650 words). Full, the default for real decisions, seats 2–3 councils plus a Red Team seat (1,400–2,400 words). Deep, the "summit", seats 3–5 councils plus the Red Team as a full council (2,800–4,500 words). In Claude Code, when a subagent tool is available, deep sessions (and full sessions with 3 or more councils) run each council as its own parallel agent, so no council can anchor on another. Everywhere else, councils run as sealed, sequential sessions. The skill gives Claude these honesty rules on every run. Every session opens with a one-line simulation notice, and every persona card cites public sources. Simulated lines are never presented as real quotes. A card can carry one verified real "signature line" with its source: 70 of the 80 cards have one, and 10 are paraphrase-only. Real people are never made to endorse politics, contested social positions or religion, or to speak about private lives or allegations. Invoke it with `/council ` in Claude Code, or say "convene the council: …" on any surface. It works in Claude Code, Claude.ai, Claude Desktop and the Claude API.
